Underfloor heating can generally be controlled per room. If your home has multiple rooms, it is highly recommended that you consider zoning. If we are aware of this wish, we can take into account the underfloor heating configuration where each room can be controlled individually. In some cases we can even include the space arrangements in the quotation. Furthermore, the JK system is compatible with virtually all types of thermostats, ranging from modern SMART thermostats to more traditional models. The term "sealing" refers to filling the gaps in which the underfloor heating pipes are placed. This is achieved using a specially developed product called JK Flexseal (also called JK Sealing Mass). JK Flexseal is a unique composition that adheres to both the screed floor and the underfloor heating pipes. The advantage of sealing is that the space around the pipes is filled with the sealing compound, making a JK system ideal for leveling (carried out by your flooring specialist) without the risk of the pipes floating. Another additional advantage is that hard floor finishes such as tiles can be glued directly onto the JK Flexsealing. However, it is important to note that all glued floor finishes must use adhesives suitable for underfloor heating (flexible). The degree of flexibility (e.g. S1, S2, etc.) depends on the type of floor finish; for example, large tiles require greater flexibility in the adhesive than smaller tiles.
